If you have pre-ordered/bought the game, let your fellow Spartans know.

As much as it pained me and as much as I delayed, I took a bullet for the team. With teeth clinched, I purchased the Bad Company 3 game. If it were not for the Spartan War Fighters organization, I am not sure I could have gone through with a purchase. I am hugely disappointed with the over-simplification of the Battlefield series in this upcoming installment.
Also, I am still concerned with the computer system requirements and the ability of folks to meet those requirements. I do, however, think this is a very important unifying milestone for our organization. I believe this will get folks fired-up and on the Battlefield as a cohesive phalanx.
Do what you can to get your spear tip and sword razor sharp and your shield reinforced; for we are going to war brothers. Get yourselves Combat Ready!!
And, I'll see you on the Battlefield!!

I pre-ordered about a month ago and will pick up at my local Best Buy on the 25th. As far as hardware requirements go, the beta gave most of us a chance to test drive it. I was surprised to find my ati 4870 easily playable on the medium graphic settings. Which means I don't have to immediately upgrade in order to participate. I'm still thinking I'll upgrade eventually just to see all the eye candy. I'm leaning toward the ati 6950 right now but it may ultimately depend on price point when I'm ready to jump.

Same as McGuirk, pre-ordered about a month ago. I was worried that I'd ordered a version with 'custom dogtags' instead of Karkand map pack, but it seems all Limited Editions have this. PHEW !!

Have had it pre-ordered for a few months now. The Alpha wasnt playable on my laptop so have now built a full system for BF3. The Beta looks absoluetly fantastic and cant wait for the release of the full game. For me it looks really promising. Look forward to seeing fellow spartans on the Battlefield

I have it preordered and played beta. I currently run it on a machine that meets the requirements. I noticed less problems with framerates than world of tanks at high settings which is only a dx9 game...

Pre-Ordered the game through Origin, played Alpha, Closed Beta, and Open Beta. This game has shown promise, despite all the positive and negative hype I am pretty sure with a few patches (we know the game will have problems at launch), that BF3 will be played for years to come. I know some of you really miss what BF2 let you do, just as a reminder install BF2 WITH NO PATCHES, play it online and get back to me, this should refresh your memory, again I think BF3 will live up to its name.

Pre-ordered a few months ago in hopes that the things that drive me crazy in BFBC2 will be fixed or at least be narrowed down. System seems to handle the beta just fine and I'm always looking for an excuse to rebuild partsband pieces.
Scriv is right this should be a great way to unify us as a clan. Hoping we can add some more MSTers / PSTers to the clan as it always seems like I'm playing with our brothers-in-arms the across the pond right before they head to bed and I'm making lunch.

As much as it pained me and as much as I delayed, I took a bullet for the team. With teeth clinched, I purchased the Bad Company 3 game. Hey scriv ! you will have to change your game name and play anonymously after all those EA forum posts LOL ! ;D I am confident you are going to like it though, especially vehicle maps. With the introduction of BF2 maps, we are going to get what we wanted. (BF2 updated) Ghost is right, I think this game will unify the clan, especially with features like joing a game as a group.

I took a bullet for the team. At that point I had to read it three times again to make sure you weren't really shot. Scared me pretty bad. But anyway, I got a pre-order coupon of some sort, so I can get the Limited edition version of the game at launch from a shop. It contains B2K. But I will buy it for the Xbox. There are some reasons: at the moment my computer could barely play it at minimum settings, and that is if I get Windows 7. The other reason is that the maps don't look fun to play with 64 players. Plus there's the unnecssary stuff like Battlelog and Origin, plus bad VOIP, brobably no commo rose at launch and other things I've already forgotten, since there are so many of them.

"I took a bullet for the team."
I should have been clearer and more understanding. It was just an expression. Being in a hostile environment, I should not have left it to interpretation.

I'm surprised that xbox can handle the game. The 3 cores and the OLD video card were maxed out on bfbc. I would regularly overheat the poor xbox and ps3. The game graphics have to be severely dialed back to maintain 720p and 30fps. I can't imagine how rough BF3 will look on my 62" dlp without antialiasing. I have an XFPS break out box that let's xboxers use a mouse and keyboard if anyone is interested. I also have XFPS for PS3. Just let me know if you're interested. I turned to consoles a few years ago because of the constant upgrading necessary to play the newer titles requiring newer direct x. This time around I find myself ready hardware-wise...
