Want to be able to present images on a web page in a professional looking manner. Some as individual images (bigger than thumbnails) that can be clicked on and made bigger to view or copy. Others are in sequential order and it would be nice to embed a slide show feature on a web page.

We currently have a Member's Photo Gallery. I think it would be good to have a place to upload images from members and be able to protect some images from public eyes (Our plans for different maps). The issue is the service is soon going to be a paid service.
Are their any existing services that are easy to use, can be private and public, and free?

Depends on the integration that you want with this site. If you don't want it tightly integrated then there are plenty of sites like that. If you want tight integration, then we'll have to do some custom stuff.

Ya I do this for a living and also for fun, yes I am a total geek.
As well, if the clan needs any web hosting, I run my own web hosting company, so I can setup stuff up for things if needed.
