Your vote will assist in determining our =SWF= Server setting for friendly fire damage. This is when one BF2 player accidently shoots another friendly fighter. This does NOT include Mines (Anti-tank or claymores) which will only detonate for enemy forces.

Well My view is that friendly fire should be off, (No Damage if you shoot a friendly). However I personally feel that AT mines and Clays should be on and detonate on friendly as well, this would resolve the Clay on flag issue.

How the hell else is a sniper supposed to get points Angry? That is what good sniper would do! Wait for people to get on the flag because the usually dont move why cant he get a couple more points! And if you dont like clays on flags have somebody who is oblivious run in before you and you can get some revive points. Simple as that!

Well a snipers weapon is his gun, so I would say a good sniper should be able to get points through shooting people. A claymore is meant to be used to defend a snipers position, not as an offensive weapon. Having said that the game is not real life hence I belive that if you can use a flaw in the game to your advantage then do so. (bunny hopping for example)
So although i do not have a major issue with clays on flags I do belive that if the clays killed your own as well then it would reduce the amount of idiots that run around putting clays everywhere without any thought.

I do angree with Bruno in this instance but only because i enjoy playing as a sniper and like bruno says you dont get points unless you can use your clays, clays being left on flags in a defence i think in the fact that it stops the enemy from caping the flag thus making it a defence rather than an offence in my opinion. but that is what this vote is for, we are not all going to agree on every think!!

I think 100% is too harsh. It also makes it too easy for unruly players to make intentional team kills.
I feel strongly there should be some penalty for shooting a buddy. There should be discipline/control of fires. A lack of control over fires should be penalized.

100% damage will teach situational awarness muzzle disipline.I can't stand it if I'm support/ground defense. And I'm surpressing a flag and a player will run right in front of my muzzle because of FF on, bad habit.I like it off for everything just have the option to forgive/punish.

I have changed my answer to 40% because people are idiots when they can shoot each other, and it will stop C4 jumping which i hate!! As long as mines and clays dont go off on friendlys im happy!!
