You just need to create a place to put the files temporaly on the website that only admin can see. and then add the link in bf2cc.

How to setup Battlerecorder

The first thing is to understand what is needed to enable the recorder from an ftp stand point. When a game has finished the BF2 or 2142 server will automatically upload the BR file to your ftp site. This means that you need an ftp login with write access that uses a login and a password. BF2 will use that login and password to upload the files to your ftp server. Of course you dont want to use unsecure passwords on any ftp so please make sure you have a nice and secure password. You need a login and password on this one so that not just anyone can write or delete your recorded files.

Next you will need a free ftp account so that users who play on your server can download those same files that the recorder uploaded. This means that you need an ftp account that allow anonymous access and has read only rights. Read only so that users can download the files and cannot change them. This access MUST point to the same place as the account with the password. In other words, if you use the passworded account to upload a file, the account without the password needs to be able to see that file.

So with all that said and once you have your accounts setup you will open a ticketWith your server company and give them this info just the way it is here:

# set to the target directory on the ftp server
ftp_target_dir = /demos
This is mainly for listing sub directories if you decide not to place them in the root directory of the ftp user.

# login information for the ftp server goes here
ftp_server = my.ftp.server
ftp_user = my_user
ftp_password = my_password

Please double check your settings before sending your ticket. It only takes a few minutes to make sure they work.

Once you send us that information the only thing left to do is enable demo recording in your game server settings. This is where you will put the public ftp link so that users can download demos after they play. You will see this setting in which you can insert your link:

sv.demoDownloadURL http://

Here is an example of what one would look like:
sv.demoDownloadURL mysite.com/bf2demos
