Xfire keeps saying im Away From my Keyboard (AFK) when im not. It really bugs me. I log in and scroll down to see whos on and then bam im AFK all of a sudden.
Has anyone ever encountered this?
Some help would be great,

And, you tried "Reseting" in the bottom drop down menu?

I tried resseting it, turning it off, restarting my whole computer, running it as admin although i dotn see how that ould help i still did it and nothing helped.

I was looking in the XFire forums about this as I have the same problem, they say it is an issue with Vista and XFire and are working on it for the next update!

Well it was working perfectly fine earlier and then an update came and it keeps saying im AFK.
I think imma just degrade to XP because Vista has too much crap associated with it.

There are a few problems with it, although most of the ones I have come across are just third party software not being compatable with vista, which isnt microsofts fault really. Having said that they still havn't done a very good job with Vista and I am sure the Vista/XP debate will continue to rage until Windows 7 is released. I just wish someone would write an operating system that was specifically designed for Gamers, similar to the Xbox360 software, which requires a quarter of the power of a normal desktop PC and yet runs games at fairly high graphics and speed. The software just needs to be simple without hundreds of different addons that just slow everything down and are never used by most people, id buy it in a second!

Ill agree with angry, they need to create a software just for gamers. As for Windows 7 I heard you will have to pay for it monthly, but then again its just a rumor.
Ahh crazy Microsoft and their technology. Damn you Bill Gates haha.

I belive that the last update of XFire fixed the (AFK) problem, at least it is no longer an issue for me.

It didn't fix the problem with me. When you see me online just type to me and say hi or something. If I am there I will answer, If im not then it will be left blank.
Thats as simple as I can make it.
