If you do and you signed up for the Unlimited plan prior to May 2011 then you may be paying too much.
In May 2011 the plans were changed and are now called Premier and Premier Plus. The pricing was changed to $9.99 for Premier and $14.99 for Plus. The Premier plan, which was $12.99/month, is what Unlimited accounts were changed to but the account charges were never reduced to reflect the new pricing. I have submitted a help request to Rhapsody:
According to your current plan prices I am being overcharged for your services. Premier is supposed to be $9.99/month but I am being charged $12.99 which is what Unlimited used to cost. This also means I have been overcharged for 30 months to a tune of $90.00 since the plan changed on May 10, 2011. I am very unhappy you changed my plan but never changed how much I was being charged and I am wondering how many other people you have done this to. This is completely unethical and I am surprised a large corporation would do something like this and not be aware that it was happening especially for this long. I want one of two things for myself. Either credit my account the $90.00 you stole from me or give me Premier Plus at the discounted rate of $7.49 for one year of which I would prefer. What I want for the rest of your customers is for them to be notified of your "mistake" and given the same above two options. Thank you.
If anyone does use it and has been overcharged hold off and lets see if they actually make good on this. If not I may try submitting this to an attorney to see if there is a possibility to watch a greedy corporation lose a bunch of money.
