It looks like the long awaited sequel to FSX is almost here! There is a features list (in english) in this thread... www.simflight.de/2013/09/23/prepar3d-v2-0-ist-in-beta/I will certainly be buying this when its released (reportedly before the end of the year) and if its half of what it claims to be, I'll be leaving FSX behind for good.

Actually Wobbly, an "academic" license can be purchased for $59 US. Available on November 25th for download or disc. I'm upgrading to Windows 7 just for this. Prepar3d.com

Edit: Has anyone gone for it yet? Also, do this not install into FSX rather than replace it?
