Now that Project Reality BF2 reached version 1.0, the developers have time to create their standalone PR game, called Project Reality 2. It is being developed on CryEngine 3, and it will be free to play. Since they have to create everything from scratch, it's going to take a long time before they'll even (possibly) release a public alpha version.
