There are different types of trading posts:

Neutral (Any humanity)
Neutral Traders are usually located in higher risk areas. With the risk comes potential reward in form of higher profit and pricing.

Friendly (Between +5,000 and -5000)
Friendly Traders are generally located in safer areas. Pricing is generally lower than found at neutral traders

Hero (Greater than +5,000 humanity)
Hero Traders are located in far out locations and have special clothes, weapons, and armed vehicles as well as lower prices.

Bandit (Lower than -5,000 humanity)
Bandit Traders are located in far out locations and have special clothes, weapons, and armed vehicles with higher prices.

S - Silver 1oz (Left side of "-" is Sell & Right side of "-" is Silver)
C - Copper 1oz

You convert 12 10oz gold into a 100oz briefcase(at a vendor) you lose 2 10oz gold. This essentially means the conversion costs 2 10oz gold.
