There are many out dated laws in the UK, which are slowly being abolished, here are a few that are still 'Law'. Plus a few random facts.
*The Swan law has one exception, swans are public in the town of Swansea.
What out of date/ strange laws exist still in your country?

The US has some pretty strange laws too. I don't know many off the top of my head, but I do know that one law in Colorado goes something like: 'It is unlawful to lend your vacuum to your neighbor.'
Also, there's one in Kentucky or something that states you can't cross county lines with a chicken on your head.

LOL, that's funny Phoenix. Here in Jersey ALL the laws are strange  If someone asks for owed money or property back on a Sunday it is void  If a car pulls out onto a main road on a blind corner and a speeding motorcycle plows into it (me :  the car is at fault. This goes back to 'horse and carriage' days where a passenger has to get out and give the all clear. This still stands today. |
