Unlike most modern day gaming, Battlefield 2 can be played without an internet connection.
The game loading procedure is much faster than it used to be. I did some practice flying using LAN for the 64 player maps and played against the bots on some of the 16 player maps. - Dalian Plant (flew different helios around the map) It was wonderful to conduct some proper flying. Flying under pipes and cranes. Doing gun runs on stationary targets. Then some serious action on: - Warlord - Dragon Valley - Sharqi Peninsula - Night Flight I got 72 kills on one of the maps. I sure felt great to be back on BF2. We should do a BF2 event at some point.

I would be up for that when you get back. I miss the days of dominating the fields on BF2.

I wish there was some sort of a chart for situations like this.... Wait, we do have a chart for a situation like this! spartanwf.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=games&thread=1537&page=1It is possible that some of the information is outdated. I hope most of it is accurate. My BF2 doesn't work properly, unfortunately. I'm not sure if I didn't get past a refresh rate issue or was it a Punkbuster error I was dealing with, but mine doesn't work. Forgotten Hope 2 luckily does.
