List your choice for the best album you think nobody's ever heard of. I'll start.
Artist - Big Star Title - #1 Record

This may be the most well-known album ever to people older than me (but who still sound younger than me! ) and/or who live outside of Finland, but hopefully it's not. Artist: Alan Parsons Title: On Air Note that it's not made by The Alan Parsons Project, but a solo album by the man himself. Its theme is aviation, and there are lots of cool parts in the songs. There are planes ascending and starting up, there's Apollo about to get launched, and it's all really well made. From the beginning to the end, it's a masterpiece of an album. There are no bad songs or filler material. Every single song is finely crafted and perfected by non other than the audio engineer Alan Parsons, of course.

I've heard of Parsons, Trower and Beefheart. I hadn't heard of the Groundhogs until the other night when you mentioned them. I liked what I heard.

Wow, checking out "Safe as Milk" on youtube. Fantastic. Cool, glad you like it McGuirk. I think Beefheart and his 'Magic Band' are one of my all time favorites. The secret with him is that you don't like it at first, then it creeps up on you I discovered him through the album 'Mirror Man'. Another good un.

This may be the most well-known album ever to people older than me That would be everyone then Al...... Darn it, my secret has been revelead once again! But I've got to say, Scriv has done a great job gathering a group of people from different countries and age groups, and it's working remarkably well. People with 35 years or 20 000 kilometres between them are playing games all together in peace and harmony. I actually do have another album in my mind, but once again it may be really well-known in some circles or some parts of the world. Artist: Leonard Cohen Title: Songs of Love and Hate That's one of his first albums, and he made it in 1971 when he was still a young man... 37. And he sounded younger than me at that time! Sadly, now that he's 78, he sounds older than me. It's pretty interesting to hear how his voice changes over the years. But about the songs, they are not like today's songs. I don't know if I could even classify all of them as songs, as they are more like poems or stories being read while music is playing. Well, Cohen started as a poet and has even said he never knew how to sing. If you haven't heard of this album before, now you have. Hopefully I've convinced you into listening to it.

I have a few that aren't well known. First up is current music. DatSik - Cold Blooded This is Dub Step style techno much like what Iwazzio posted not to long ago. Datsik fell off the mainstream for a while and not many people knew that he came back and made a new album early this year. 2 Cellos - 2 Cellos I love the sound of Cellos and the new carbon fiber ones even more. The carbon fiber gives the cello an electric, vivid sound that is amazing. They started off by covering Michael Jacksons Smooth Criminal and it was so popular they decided to make an album. There is a new on out called In2ition but I was a bit disapointed as they added more modern instruments, but, is still good. The older unknown might be pretty well known by our older European group. Steve Miller Band - Itiallian X-Rays This album was like no other produced by the band and is my favorite from them. It had an electronic sound that was way ahead of its time and is probably why I like techno so much today.

Faktion -- Faktion
Fantastic rock, great lyrics, and they also put on a good show when I saw them live (years and years ago).
