Great Taz, I hope you enjoy it.

I might be too late with this, but when choosing your first garage location make sure it has a good network of large roads around it.

I chose Cardiff first and regretted it Birmingham is good for the UK
Nurnberg or Stuttgard are good for Europe. They are central giving you jobs in all directions.

It is not speed limits Al, but the vehicle speed 'limiter' Default limit for trucks is 60mph. With the limiter disabled I can hit 70 on a long straight

The realistic physics is top of the list and almost essential once you have tried it.
The real logos is a nice to have, but as they are all free why not ;D

So, I have put in a few hours on the title and have hit a few milestones. I didn't see Wobbly's post about choosing your first garage and ended up with Edinburgh. I ended up traveling through a few cities in the UK but soon found myself across the channel and exploring the rest of Europe.



So far I have purchased a MAN and decked it out. No fancy paint job yet but I am saving up for it.



Instead of upgrading my first garage I purchased a new one in Nurnburg. I also have been able to purchase a second MAN and hired on a lovely young lady. Don't get all excited. I didn't hire her because there was a pretty picture. She was actually the best driver out of the pick I had. All of this has been done with one 100,000 Euro loan and I only have just over 16,500 to pay back. This truly is SCS's best work and I am enjoying the hell out of it. All you nay-sayers are missing out!

Euro Truck Simulator 2 will get Oculus Rift support in a patch soon. Driving a truck has never been this realistic!

It really is quite a unique game anyway. SCS has turned a boring job into an exciting one! At least I imagine driving a truck would be boring. But thanks to the demo, I understand that it isn't all that easy. Reversing a trailer into a specific spot is very tricky.

It is quite unique and relaxing. I love tuning into a good radio station and driving through the night.

The cities and roadways are much more intricate and some can be a bear trying to navigate your trailer throuhgh. The big highway interchanges are more realistic as well. They should have had this guy on their development team.

Ooh, that's nice. Too bad Finland doesn't have much content. Luckily it does have a part of the E75, which I've used quite a few times when I've gone to Helsinki or someplace near it. Never in a truck, though. I'll download this mod surely if I ever happen to buy ETS 2.

The developer of the mod is very proactive in keeping it up to date with the game updates. He is also talking about releasing more content and he says it will be compatible with any DLC SCS comes out with.
