This is a proposal to PC Gamers Network from the Spartan War Fighters. This is a survival obstacle course negotiated one map at a time. Access to the next higher level map difficulty is gained by surviving the previous map.
Server Recruit level difficulty (Namalsk map) – Straight DayZ <<Open to the Public>>
- Daylight only
- Starting inventory
… Revolver with one ammo
… Flashlight (if, continuous daylight is not possible)
… Empty canteen
… First Aid bandage (2)
… Pain Relief
… Heat pack
… Morphine
… Coyote Patrol Pack (small)
Map Weapon Restrictions
(No G17, 9mm SD) (Only sniper rifle is CZ 550)
(No machineguns or HE fragmentary grenades) (No M-16/AK variants)
(No NVGs, gullie suit, GPS, range finder, anti-tank, satchel charge, aircraft, rotor assembly, tent, bear trap)
(Yes to crossbow, shotguns, Winchester, Enfield, M14)
** A2 Bunker teleport to gain access to the Chernarus map (fresh spawn) **
** Can revisit lower level map with previous kit loadout **
Server Normal level difficulty (Chernarus map) - Breaking Point extension <<whitelisted from here on>>
- Day/Night cycle
- Starting inventory
… Crowbar
… Green chem lights
… First Aid bandage (1)
… Pain Relief
… Czech vest

The final teleport in Salvation City gets your screen name placed upon a fancy webpage "Hall of Fame." The top portion of the "Hall of Fame" list would be the "Honored" and include those who have completed the quest and contributed $20 to maintaining the PCGN servers. A random drawing of the "Honored" results in four winners of a DayZ Standalone game distributed through Steam.
There would likely have to be one server for each map. So, the number of servers might have to be reduced from the six servers in this example. Perhaps, it is just three to four maps/servers. One for each level of difficulty.
Can a server be set to just day or just night?
How difficult is it to change the loot tables for each server?
Next issue is how to teleport without having to restart the servers. Perhaps the answer is have separate whitelist for each server. How could a the server admins determine if a player has reached the teleport location? Can an admin tell if a player has entered a specific vehicle? Maybe, there is a full-health bus with hesco barriers tightly around the exterior of the vehicle. Player comes up on TeamSpeak and requests transfer to the next server.
We could give credit to and highlight the different extentions (Breaking Point, Mercenary, Origins) being an integral part of this survival obstacle course.
Again, the is a recruiting/advertising opportunity. A really well edited YouTube video to kick things off. Once we get everything tested, invite some of the big/medium You Tube broadcasters to test their manhood.
