GwV vs =SWF=.... A Taviana War

Whilst we have been enjoying a time of peace with the PCGN chaps, we decided to meet up with bobby to test and equip him as he requested to join us!

But this feeling of safety did not last and was shattered by the sound of approaching rotor blades, reactions were slow as we had not been paying attention to the player list and thought we were on our own still on the server. So, the guys thought that the chopper was myself and Iwazzio returning in our littlebird.... but it wasnt. Over teamspeak we hear that they are under attack from a Huey.

Just as we arrive in the area our littlebird starts taking fire and we retreat after taking damage. After Taz got killed twice on the airfield, bobby got killed, and Iwazzio ran out of ammo we decided this battle was over and went to the large island to regroup. Unfortunatly, this went slightly wrong when due to earlier damage so when i landed the little bird too hard it knocked it out of action. GwV was hunting us in a plane and chopper and coming very close. We prepared for another fight which never came.... somehow we remained undetected.

Rache saved the chopper by driving repair parts to us. We went to meet up with Tom; who had decided to help us kill GwV. Unfortunalty, we could not locate them and decided to loot more repair parts and logged out.

We look forward to getting revenge. So, watch your backs GwV!

Oh by the way, GwV, well done you really took us by surprise!

Damn, how do I always seem to miss these! This is my kind of Dayz...enough of this cooperation stuff. Taviana here I come!

Great story. It is always good to check the player list by pressing "P" every once in a while to see who has joined. Just as in a real life combat environment, you do not want to get too complacment.

What was the situation on the ground during the initial contact?
Was it just Taz and bobby?
Who's bobby?
Have you seen any of Arcadius?
Did we have a ground vehicle at the location of the initial contact?
What kind of terrain was the =SWF= force situated on?
Was the initial contact on the airfield?

2. Yes Just Taz and bobby as i was flying trying to transport people back to fight, rache spawned along way away on the other island and iwazzio ran out of ammo lol.

=SWF= hits GwV's base! last night when Johan was still fresh meat

Myself, Phoenix, Mcguirk, Rache and Johan decided to take the fight to GwV. So, we did a couple of fly byes and let a Rache and Johan parachute near their base. I returned to our base with phoenix when we got into a air battle with GwV in a plane and another chopper. Eventually, phoenix parachuted and i got away from our attackers with some low level flying through the city and trees.

I then landed the chopper and met up with mcguirk and walked down to byelov. Rache and Johan were killed whilst we were on route. When we got there we moved in to the city, but due to a hacker making the server go down phoenix left and Johan also left!

Taz came on line as the action started again, myself and mcguirk had the base covered by 2 angles and we heard a car and laid low. We saw GvW leave in the car, so i moved in whilst mcguirk cover me. I blew up the bus they had as a gate and got inside their base. I was just about to start looting there base when mcguirk heard the car returning. I was trapped inside the base so i did the only thing i could i got in one of their choppers and fired it up. mcguirk was helpless to assist me and the chopper was not getting up to speed very fast so soon i was taking fire!!!

Then mercifully, i started to lift and i took off through the hole in the roof with smoke coming out as the chopper engine had been hit badly. I got away, leaving some very unhappy GwV behind me and I'm sure mcguirk didn't expect me to get away!!

That was a great moment Lambourne. Well done! After you lifted off a couple of their members came running out into the street looking up as you pulled away and had they just held still for an instant I might have been able to take them out. That would have been the icing on the cake.

Not really taz and myself got a v3 from TNA's base and found a camo ural but server has been quite recently

Me and taz were out looking for choppers in our only chopper then we found one at the south tip of the big island. All was well, we got it, and started doing a flying convoy back to base.

Then, my screen started to flicker and freeze. I just had time to put it in auto hover when my screen went black! My graphic drivers had crashed. When they recovered, I alt tabbed back into game, but my in game picture would not return; just a black screen with the sound of my chopper. So with taz being my eyes, I flew about 800 m and landed the chopper in a field which was a success!
