A lot of play on the PCGN Origins server lately. =SWF= continues to add to its camp and a few members have built houses. We have accumulated a lot of inventory, I mean a lot. At last count we had two helicopters, a UAZ, an SUV and a bus. In addition to member houses being stocked, we have storage boxes in various locations loaded with weapons and supplies. (Over a dozen pairs of NV goggles at last count!) This is thanks mainly to Iwazzio, Tiber, Lambourne and CrispyDevl who have done the lion share of the work.
Yesterday, I joined them for a couple of raids. First we drove into Sabina to load up on industrial parts. There were 55 players on the server so we were ready for anything. It wasn't long after we arrived at the main industrial site that we heard shots and then the sound of a vehicle approaching. Tiber took up a position to cover the front entrance to the south, I covered the back entrance and the east and Lambourne took up a high position with his DMR. Then we just sat tight.
An SUV approached and parked next to a white pickup in the parking lot to the east and two players got out. We opened fire and one player fell immediately while the other was hit as he reentered the SUV. He attempted to drive away but was soon killed and ejected from the vehicle. Before we could get over there to investigate we heard another motor possibly a truck approaching from the north. Again we waited.
We heard the engine shut down then observed a player approaching the bodies and the SUV in the east lot. Lambourne took him out with one shot from his DMR. After that we took the SUV and our UAZ loaded with parts and headed home. Tiber and I made a recon mission to find the truck and instead discovered a bus loaded with loot. Tons of building materials plus weapons and other loot. We took both vehicles back to camp. Hoorah!
