Now i'm going to break the trend! Although I listen to some music from the 80's as some are just classics you cant beat, music I like is more from the 90's onwards! All hail S club 7 ;D which were massive during my junior school days! and lets not forget Will smith rap!! But on a serious note i'm into bands/artists like red hot chilli peppers, Ellie Goulding, Calvin Harris, artic monkeys, rudimental, Jason Mraz, Night wish, evanescence, Paramore etc... the list could go on my you get the idea.

Something everyone probably knows: Nightwish is a Finnish band! One of the few that have actually been succesful outside of our dark country of depressed people.
I got Black Sabbath's last album, 13. Oh man, I have listened to Paranoid (it's from the 70's!), but I didn't know I liked proper heavy metal this much. The first songs were ashtonishing, the sound was just incredibly heavy and massive, and I had a grin on my face for a long while when I was listening.

Nice one Al ;D That album is currently No1 in the UK album charts, which is amazing for Sabbath. For their early stuff, check out Vol, 4 especially 'Snowblind'

Perhaps, perhaps.
But Black Sabbath's last (and latest) album has sold really well and is a good album.

I've got to say that Katie Melua has an extraordinarily beautiful voice! The album called The House is very good, has very good songs and a very good sound quality. Of course it's always a plus that she's a pretty (Georgian-born British) young woman who's also interested in science. Here's one good song from that album:

Well, I do listen to many kinds of music, from Abba to Whitesnake, from AC/DC to Yello, from Adele to U2. It all depends on the mood.
At some point I started to like jazz and heavy metal more than before. Quite interesting. I used to be stuck in the 80's-90's music, but now I'm starting to listen to music from the 70's, as well as some from the 00's and...10's? These new decades sound weird to me. David Bowie from the 70's, Hurts from today. Great artists.
