I am testing out the new OS windows 7, this will be the new OS that will take over Vista. I will keep you informed of how it is working out, i expect i will come across many programs that are not compatible etc. At the moment this OS is much the same as vista. It is a development copy only and has not been released as a beta version so it is very much in its early stages. I believe the release date for this product is late in 2010.

All reviews seem to point to it being many times superior to vista. Thank goodness cause Vista is horrible

Well, that being said, I'm not a huge fan of the Mac either. It's way overpriced for what it is. Basically, I don't think any of the major OS are that good. Each is good in its own way, we somehow need someone to make a frankenstein version of them. Ease of use, games support of Windows, slickness and stability of Mac, customization and control of linux.

alienware overclock their machines dont they? i refuse to buy pre-built machines. i find they fail more. ive built my own from the day i found out how to do it. costs a bit more in the long run but more reliable and well worth it cos you can put what you want in it

Yep agreed 100% lofty, I do the same and will also never go to a shop and buy a pre built one.
The crazy thing is that it sounds really hard to build your own rig, but it isnt that difficult at all.
