I just have to buy a joystick now as flying with the keyboard is not going to work and the CH yoke isn't really made for dog fighting. Wait to see if you like it McGuirk (sorry Capt.), before spending on kit  I believe Viper has also taken the plunge. We should have an introduction night soon. it is quite complicated spending your points on crews and weapons. I would have been in deep s*@t if not for Auscam helping me out |

You blokes thinking of have a go at War Thunder? I really like this game and the potential is huge. At the moment there is only the air element to it but soon you will be able to control tanks and ships as well. Not only that you will be able to indulge in "WORLD WAR" with all sea land and air units in one arena.
I've actually got myself into the a position on the forums as a "Warthrunder Senior Moderator" and will soon also have the power to cause havoc in game as well, and to top it off, they pay me as well.
This will be cool if you could get an event going, please count me in if you do.

You blokes thinking of have a go at War Thunder? Hey Aus, I think we are close to swarming into the frey As you know I have played a bit, Lambourne and iwazzio too. The other guys: McKuirk, Viper and Prius (my Dad) are new recruits I was hoping we could all get on together to help set up controls and crews etc. It is confusing starting off. I'm OK with the basics of Aircraft purchase, crew training etc and can point the guys in the right direction. I have not joined a squadron yet, so it would be trial and error setting up missions etc. |

Thanks Aus, will do. Must be close to final release, it is looking pretty good now. I buzzed a carrier on the Pearl Harbor map and I could see through the lovely water to the bottom, awesome ;D |

No mate, there is still loads to do. They are getting ready to alpha test the next phase. I have just had to sign a NDA for it. There is the land and sea element to test yet, not sure which one they will test next. Plus there is still loads of aircraft not released yet. The future looks bright.
