Useful key combinations are Ctrl+F10 and Ctrl+F11, one of which removes the HUD and the other removes the gun. You can't shoot without the gun, but if you want to take some good pictures without the weapon and all kinds of meters blocking the view, here's the way. Playing without the HUD would be quite immersive, but you'd be at a disadvantage. |

If you have Planetside 2 on Steam, you can press F12 to take a screenshot. I think you can press Print Screen to take screenshots that will be saved in some folder. I'll have to check that out more closely. Press Page Up to start recording and press it again to stop the process. Where it will go and with which settings it's taken can be seen and presumably altered in UserOptions.ini file.
