Me and DayZ/WarZ

Everytime my fellow Spartans see me on TS3 and ask if I am playing DayZ and I respond no, its not that I am boycotting DayZ for WarZ or any other game. Fact is I have about 5 Zombie killing games currently installed on my PC, I am not playing any of the five right now nor have I played any of them since October, I have just gotten tired of Zombies for the minute, before DayZ (which I got Scriv addicted to ) I played for weeks Dead Island, and before that I played Dead Rising, lots of good zombie killing games. The PCGN event did not interest me at all, I figure if you want to just PVP with objectives then play ArmA 2, hell thats what the GAME is meant for, not just a way to run a mod.

I prefer to play many different games and mods, like Warfare BE =SWF= Edition, or Invasion 1944, FarCry 3, Assassins Creed, Sins of a Solar Empire, Company Of Heroes Blitzkrieg Mod, and many others. I hope I have not made you guys feel like I am alienating anyone or myself from the clan, its just like back when all we played was Battlefield 2 or Project Reality, sometimes I like to enjoy other things, then come back to the center.

While I am currently not part of the main Spartan Phalanx, I still have my Shield and Spear and both are sharp & strong, both fighting the enemy just on a different front (someone has got to show those thespians how to fight), thanks for taking the time to read all this and see you on the battlefield!

Cool Spartan, I am with you 100%.
Gaming is about fun and we all branch out into different games.
I have not deserted my beloved BF3, but am temporarily diverted by Planetside2.
IMO 2142 was the best BF and I think PS2 is even better. For some reason this game is drawing me in and not letting me go

Planetside 2 is tons of fun, I am waiting a bit for updates as I beta tested that crap out of that game, once better network and system performance is improved and they settle out the prices for weapons, then I shall rejoin (I already have my account active).

I hear ya Spartan. Sometimes I go on a hiatus from certain games or certain genres for a while too. Just last month I was all about AOE 2 and 3, before that it was all Planetside 2, before that it was DayZ, etc. The only game that I used to frequent that I haven't gone back to yet is League of Legends, and that's only because they added so many new characters it's just a jumbled mess now IMHO.

Hi Spatan, I can see where you are coming from. As wobbly says gaming is all about having fun in your spare time. The fact that you try so many different games is cool as you can pass on your knowledge on what is good. Am getting into planetside too at the moment, is nice to have a change from BF3.
