Great action adventure game set on a island chain.
Graphics are well rendered and the world is completely free roam.
You have to hunt animals to craft slings and holsters to carry more gear.
The animals are very dangerous leopards will stalk you.I was walking near a river and watched a croc grab a guy fishing.
And then there are the pirates they roam around in various vehicles and attack on sight.I like to put mines in the road or use C4 as a IED and blow them up when they drive by.Not many weapons to pick from but that is fine by me as being on a island I think choices should be limited.Do not know if they jam like they did in FC2.
I'm still very early in this game but recommend it if you want a good single player game.There is a co-op mode also at this time I have not tried it.
Tips:
1) The Radio towers should be first priority.As you repair them the friendly locals will hook you up with weapons for free.
2) Liberation of Pirate outpost will give you more fast travel points to move around the map.
3) Kill animals and craft holsters etc.More ammo and weapons is better.
4) Get XP points to unlock skills and takedowns.Some skills will increase combat effectiveness.
5) There are hang gliders all over the map.Great way to travel to radio towers and overall.
6) Beware of using molotovs and the flame thrower as in FC2 flames will spread quickly.
7) Have good situational awareness as animals will attack and you are in a jungle.
8) Plenty of side quest in this game I'm just driving around killing pirates and getting safehouses setup.
9) Mines will kill friendlies be aware where you choose to plant them.
10) Vehicles handle different a car will slide around a jeep will have better grip etc.
11) Enemy AI is good, a trick I use while being pursued is to lay low throw a rock.When they go to the sound ambush them.
I loved FC2 and was waiting a long time for this installment so far I'm very happy with this game.
