IF you are the outfit leader, log in, check the social tab, click on the outfit tab, click on the little arrow next to Wobbly's name and then click "promote to outfit leader".
That's how I assume it works like, based on promoting people to squad leaders.

Yes Scriv, I think Al is right. I will be happy to look after the PS2 Outfit in your absence Scriv, or even hand over to a more experienced Spartan as things progress. I just wanted to try and create a SWF Outfit tab so everyone in game can see our clan name  Edit: Just noticed a new feature on the sig. below. As well as the server, it now also displays the Outfit. Cool ;D (just the in-game tag left to sort) |

Thanks Scriv, I will do my best to look out for the Spartans on that nasty alien planet! I have created a tag for our outfit but could only come up with [SWF1] as SWF is already in use  I am wondering if it is because the outfit is called SWF rather than Spartan War Fighters ? I might contact support to see if it can be sorted. |

Could you use =SWF or -SWF- or something else instead? Can you change the name of the clan (not the clan tag but hte actual name) to Spartan War Fighters? Would that help?

I had a reply from SOE support and they confirm that SWF is already in use by another outfit  Maybe some guys playing the beta created a Spartan outfit ? Al, we can only use up to 4 letters. I tried =SWF= but no go. I can try creating a new outfit with our full name, but I think we will still have the same problem with the tag. Shame, SWF1 is better than nothing I suppose  |

It would be all upper case letters so it would be SPWF.

Spanish People's Wildlife Foundation? LOL, Our enemies would be killing themselves if we had a name like that !! They would freeze with fear  This has reminded me that I have created a new outfit called 'Spartan War Fighters' rather than SWF. (you can see the change in my sig below). Unfortunately we are stuck with the SWF1 tag for now. I can change it anytime but it can only be four cap letters  I have just been online with Al & Viper and the tag is visible for all to see. The old outfit does not exist now guys so everyone will be re-invited to the new one. ;D You are all currently civilians until you rejoin the battle against the Terran and Vanu  |

SWF1 looks OK in game. The 1 means we are first and separates us from the imposters Next time we have a few online I will take a screenie to show the other guys. (besides, I want to show off my new Flash spiky tyres)  |

I have just discovered our Outfit SWF1 has climbed to rank 84 on Waterson. This is amongst a total of some 3000 plus outfits www.planetside-universe.com/outfit_leaderboard.php?server=Waterson&members=2If you click on our name you can check out members list, score details etc. Make sure the server dropdown is on Waterson For some reason we are listed with only four members: wobbly, Viper, BuckRogers (BTTF) and Lambourn. Al is not showing up, although in-game he is a member Because we created a new Outfit with the tag SWF1 I am having to re-invite everyone. If I catch anyone online I will send an invitation. ;D |

Our Outfit is nearly back up to full strength with nine members ;D I have made everyone Officers. This enables you to invite players to the Outfit. Remember members will have our clan tag, so I'm not sure if we should invite non Spartans. An option would be to reduce privileges for non Spartans Anyway, we should discuss this first.
