Forgotten Hope 2 (FH2) is a mod for Battlefield 2 which portrays World War II in a way that focuses on historical accuracy and tactical gameplay. The current Forgotten Hope 2 version (2.4) covers well-known battles of the war and other not so well known in North Africa, Greece, and Normandy. You can play as German, American, British, Canadian, Australian or Italian soldier. Fight in battles in their most glorious and gritty forms. Tank battles, artillery bombardments, dog-fights, rifleman firefights, close quarter shootouts, and objective missions can be experienced in both Multi-player and Single-player/Coop game modes. You too could join the troops in the trenches! www.moddb.com/events/2010-mod-of-the-year-awards/features/players-choice-mod-of-the-year-2010

You seem to have done a LOT of editing on the forums in the last 24, Scriv. I especially like how Forgotten Hope got its own sub-forum. I was about to suggest you'd make one for DayZ but it seems you were faster.
Anyway, one of the biggest things 2.4 did to 2.3 was to remove the crosshair. Another thing is that the tank turrets have a maximum turning speed; you can't set your mouse sensitivity to extremely high and turn the turret unrealitically fast. Both are good changes in my opinion.
2.4 official trailer (don't remove the 2.3 trailer though, it shows gameplay and maps really well)
2.4 gameplay as a German recon, actually doing what a recon is supposed to do.
A CoD player would say "Look at that noob camp" but it's not camping, he's defending the flag on the frontlines.
