I wasn't sure if it was a joke the first time I saw the post on our other forum. Now that I know that it's real I can't wait to play with everyone. I'm sure it's going to be the next big thing for the clan.
P.S. Downloading as I type!

Oh yeah, Project Reality: Vietnam was announced on April Fool's day (April 1st) two years ago. And now the release date was announed this year on April Fool's day, making the fans wonder what's going on. Many (on the PR forums) thought it was an April Fools joke, or maybe it was a reversed one: people think it's a joke but then it would be revealed it isn't... It got confusing and the developers had fun with it.
But it is real indeed. I hope we get to test it as soon as possible. And it should be as easy to play as the Project Normandy mini-mod for PR: just install it and start PR normally. Then look for servers running the mod, that's it.

Exactly Al, and you can test it now! I have and it seems to run pretty good. The small maps have a lot of dense vagitation to hide in and the uniforms blend in well. You could be walking right next to the enemy and not even know anyone was there. Just like the real thing. Only bummer is it seems that not many servers are running the mod yet. I hope that changes soon. I can't wait to fly the Huey with some door gunners supporting.
