Yer i did like PR, it def wont take the place of BF2 for me and there are a few things in the game i dont like, the blood thing for a start!! that is very annoying when you cant see and there isnt a medic in site. But i think i will like it more with time.
I think i prefer the town maps, the forest was fun but i think its easier to see wer you are in the town maps wer as the forest map every think is the same. Im not to keen on the way you have to check the map or the fact that there isnt a health bar.
But there are several pros to this game also, the fact that you HAVE to use team work is great and being able to make the mobile spawn points is really good as well as the mobile gun turrets. I think i will play on this game fairly often but not as much as BF2, and i prob wont play it without ad least 2other Spartans.

If you are running VISTA, you need to right click the Project Reality decktop icon. Select "properties" and then compatibility.
Put a check mark and then select Windows XP SP1 and a check mark for "Run as Admin".

On Behalf of Kublaj
I downloaded all files necessery for PR. After installation i recieved a message that the game cannot find bf2.exe. After a couple of hours of troubleshooting, I grew tired of it.
I am one of those guys that want things to go smoothly. The files remains on my computer but are not installed as of now. I will probably try to get it to work sometime in the near future. The pics of the game and some of the things I have seen on Youtube looks really cool.
So, when I´m not too lazy anymore, I´ll start digging in to get it to work. What came as a surprise was that this mod is about two years old...and I haven´t heard of it until you brought it up.

Installed it works good on single player.Have not tried it online yet.Like the ACOGs and realistic reloads.Sounds and maps are cool ,to slow paced for me.I'm still in the learning phase but we'll see. Finally the Engineer gets a real weapon. If EA were to sell this game I would give it a C+ overall and I would not buy it.But since it was free that is not a factor.I am looking forward to seeing how it is online.I recommend single player to learn the kits and to work on marksmanship. The kits with the Aimpoint(red dot) aim faster.Than the ACOG (Advanced Combat Optical Gunsite)kit the developers did a good job on this my hats off to them.More to come as I play it.

So has anyone played it yet. And if so how is it. I'm sitting here at work feeling jealous of all the European players all ready playing it

I really liked the Gaza map.The new version seems more user friendly. Time to relearn the controls.I kicked butt on the bots.

Do you think PR has gone as far as it can on BF2?

Do you think PR has gone as far as it can on BF2? Pretty much, yes. They have broken the code to go over 64 players. I have heard there is a 128 player server out there somewhere.

There is and I hear it's insane. Havn't tried it yet because most of my PR time has been spent learning ArmA2.

128 players that would make for some intense firefights.

128 players that would make for some intense firefights. Can you imagine a 64-man team pitted against another 64-man team on the PR Silent Eagle map? That would be increadible.
