When you are good at a certain kit it may end up being your favorite. Here are some reasons to switch kits:
- A need in your squad for a specific kit. This could be specified by the squad leader or implied by the current situation.
- You have an itch to try something different.
- You want to build up your stats for a kit that has fallen behind.
- An engineer is useful if you are tank or APC driver to repair your own vehicle periodically. Or as an aircraft passenger, you can repair the aircraft while in-flight.
- A medic is useful if things are getting a little ugly with the bodies stacking up. Throw out some aid bags in your area and get your defib paddles ready.
- A sniper is useful for off the beaten path control points that need defending. After putting your claymores in likely flag capture positions, get in a good overwatch position to knock off your prey with a single head shot.
- A squad leader should probably pick the medic or support kit. He should not be the first one on the objective. He needs to hang back to be used as a mobile spawn point for his squad and support his squad members. If it is a vehicle heavy map and your squad is dismounted, pick the support to supply your AT kit squad members with more AT rounds to kill tanks.
- A commander can get a lot of bang for the buck with the engineer and the sniper kits. As an engineer, he can throw out a couple mines around the main base and repair his commander assets. This way he does not waste a supply crate to get his assets back up and running. As a sniper, he can put out some claymores and overwatch a flag.
