I notice on servers folks tend to just dump a claymore on flags on the road etc.Here are some of my tactics I use.I like to place them around corners out of site,on stairways towards the middle.sometimes I will leave one in plain site and trick the enemy into running into one I have hidden or ambush them.They also work on the land bridge in Karkand.I also sometimes put them on enemy waiting to be revived so the medic will get taken out.People tend to look for the obvious in BF and in real life with some creativity you can get some good kills.On stairways most look at the top or bottom not the middle.
