Mute squad leaders as commander?

So I was playing the other day and my SL mentioned our need for a commander, so I drop out of the squad and take over commanding duties. Karkland IO, three fronts going on, Factory, Hotel and suburb. Good round. Anyways, I'm trying to balance the UAV in all three areas when one SL starts cursing me out like crazy telling me to spot guys for him. At first I was ok, but after 5 mins of cursing out and calling me all sorts of names I really needed to get rid of this guy.

Is there anyway to turn off commo with these guys?
