OK so here are some of my tips for being a squad member:
- Good communication with the Leader (ie. 'I'm at hotel, need orders.' or 'What kit shall I spawn as?' or 'Watch Out multiple enemies at the Square!')
- Work as a team, don't go running off on a personal crusade!
- Support the Squad leader, remember this guy is losing points because he is hanging back (if he is good) so return the favor, give him a hand taking on multiple enemies, revive him first if there are a number of men down, make sure he has ammo and health. Remember he is your nearest spawn point to the action, so its in your best interests to keep this man alive!
- Always make sure there is a member of the team with a medic/support kit, if there isn't then next time you die spawn in as one, unless ordered otherwise.
-Always follow orders! Don't be stupid about things, if the leader says go here, then go there! Don't ignore it or the Leader will very soon become demoralized with his mutinous Squad and stop giving orders and helping his team to victory.
- Finally, remember how the Romans became so successful. They worked as a team (an innovative, methodical machine) against the greater size disorganized barbarian hoards and won with ease. Stick together, help the man standing next to you, think of others rather than just your own glory, and most of all KICK ASS!
