Some new information about the upcoming DLC, Aftermath: www.rockpapershotgun.com/2012/10/18/battlefield-3s-aftermath-will-appear-december-18th/- Four new maps in the earthquake-devastated Iran - all game modes can be played on the new maps - a new game mode: Scavenger. You start out with a knife, a pistol and a grenade and must find new weapons from the environment to survive. I don't know if there are teams in this mode or is this straight-up deathmatch, but it sounds a bit like Quake. - new weapon: crossbow! |

Aftermath is the bomb!!!!!
Scavenger mode rocks!love the vehicles got that A-team/Mad Max look.
Worth getting IMO.

Are there vehicles in Aftermath? How big are the maps? These are important things for people wondering whether they should buy the expansion.

These are important things for people wondering whether they should buy the expansion. 1)Yes there are vehicles tanks and helos. 2)Maps are good sized lots of rubble and rough terrain.All maps are urban and it is difficult to drive in them.You can also blast doors open to find ways to the CPs.The way the maps are done it takes a lot of the advantage away from the tanks.Tank crews will need to be on their toes.The helos are little birds. Tremors also give it that "Feel". Does this help? |

Yes. How do you blast doors open? With C4 or in the good old Bad Company 2 style, with a knife?
