I think if I saw a six foot shrub in the road, I would try to avoid hitting it.

A 15 year old female texting can be a dangerous adversary.

First, off 93 is such a dangerous stretch there are bumper stickers the say "Pray for me, I drive 93!". Second, 10 PM is no time to be near any highway on foot especially where the speed limit is 70. Alcohol may have been a factor? Why don't they just go a head and tell the truth. He was obviously completely smashed. I'm just glad it wasn't one of my relatives. Then I would really be embarrased to say I'm from near by Polson.

The speed limit was 70 mph (120 km/h) and the guy decided to wander on it in a ghillie suit late in the evening?! Even if it was full day light and he wasn't camouflaged, a head-on collision with a car would have been likely.
I don't understand what were they thinking.

Perhaps, it was an attempted suicide and he, actually, succeeded.
