I just happened to stumble upon this on the Mordor HQ forums: people running BC2 servers with map boundaries turned off and god mode and unlimited ammo turned on! This is of course to see what are the maps like without the borders. Surprisingly, they are actually very interesting and not just some empty fields with no details. Well, most of them. I don't know what Heavy Metal was like on PC, but I'm assuming it was a lot like on consoles: big open map with few buildings and some vehicles. Three flags in a straight line. With the borders opened, it's a whole new map. If they could put some flags in these maps along with a higher player count and a lot more vehicles, I'd consider buying the game. There's a huge amount of wasted potential here. There's a whole favela-like town which could have provided some really good infantry gameplay. There's also an underground tunnel (big enough to drive inside) which doesn't lead anywhere. The floor even disappears after about 100 meters. Still, Heavy Metal could have been a completely different map. Here's the thread on Mordor: mordorhq.com/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=1373

Nice find. Interesting, but without flags pretty much worthless. Although I guess it gives helicopters more flying space.
