Frequently when I am loading a DayZ server map to join the game. the process goes into a long holding pattern on the "Loading" screen.
Pressing the ""Esc" does not seem to do anything
"Tab" + "Alt" functions, but right clicking the ArmA program to exit will not bring up the right click menu.
I have on numerous occasions "Tab"+"Alt"+"Delete", bring up the Windows Task Manager, and End Task.
Unfortunately after going through this process several times, my computer has started to completely crash a couple minutes into playing DayZ.
Is there a better way to exit the "Loading" screen / DayZ Server to try another server?
If I continue the problemactic process described above, I am concerned I will do damage to my ArmA game and/or my computer.
Thank you for your assistance.

I have the same problem from time to time and the only solution I've found is to launch task manager and end task. So, to answer your question, I haven't found a better way. I don't think you will damage your Arma2 install or your computer by ending task. Now, get me out of this deer stand!

If you make it to "Requesting data from server" chances are you are probably going to make it into game.
