all of this is thanks to the BIS developers for giving the community not only a great game but a sandbox as well, I just hope all this media attention gets the attention of major developers like UBISOFT and EA so they realize what people can do with advanced editing tools, and that their game developers are not as rare as they seem to think they are.

OK. Given up with this. 500 servers - 5 updated and possible to play 4 servers - stuck on 'loading' Get in a game - 5 fps Fuck this  I am willing to try 'tactical' alternatives to BF3 but am not prepared to go through all this shit to get on a server. If we have an ArmA2 event, count me in. But not DayZ |

Sorry about that outburst  I just get so frustrated, especially with a 150meg mod. Why are these things so complicated when you should be able to just download/install/PLAY !!! Other frustrations are waiting to get on the 'War Thunder' beta and being accepted for the 'Planetside2' but for the life of me cannot disable cookies for the Sony site to accept Bloody PC's !!! |

Get in a game - 5 fps Yes, it is frustrating. Fortunately/Unfortunately, DayZ is being updated on almost a daily basis. We had several days without an upsdate and it was very nice to have most of the servers available. We had at least a week with just 10% available because our individual game version was more up-to-date than 90% of the servers. Stuck on loading is a relatively common problem. The mod is in Alpha. Try to wait as long as you can before forcing the whole game to close due to the hang-up on "loading." I haven't experienced 5 fps on DayZ or ArmA 2. We have had two instances with getting moved back 500 to 1,000 meters due to a server issue. ...I just get so frustrated, ... It is extremely frustrating. It took me two attempts to install the game. There are four Spartans linked up and ready to unleash hell on the Zombie Hordes. It would be great if Wobbly and others could join-in in our exploits. It is about to really get exciting. |

I hope you manage to get it running because we're having a ball with it and would love to have you join us. We're working on setting up a Spartan camp near one of the ponds. Unfortunately, its complicated because its just a mod some clever developer came up with on his own. Its also still in the "alpha" testing phase, I believe.

Ive been playing this for a while since version 1.5.6 witch they are now on 1.7.1.5 and its improves drastically would be good to get some others out there getting groups together and going out this game is really fun. Hopefully sometime to get our own server would be nice till then SURVIVE!  |
