Battlefield 3 Armored Kill

If you have something to say about the new unlocks, go ahead and say it. I don't even know about any new unlocks. If there it's for some reason very bad (full-auto RPG launcher etc) there is a reason for negativity. If it's something like the unlocks we have now, why worry that you'd get a negative response?

I don't think I've been negative in today's posts, but then again I am tired so maybe that's why I don't see it. I just think I'm expressing my worries and thoughts on the Ac-130. Who knows, maybe it is a good feature that even I would enjoy.

Don't be afraid to express your opinion or talk about new unlocks or anything BF3-related. I don't think I have slated anyone's opinion, have I? I'll try not to be so negative in the future.

Now they introduced the Tank Superiority mode, found in the Armored Kill expansion. Apparently it has one flag in the middle and... it's something like one-flag conquest with some tanks. Or king of the hill. Infantry gameplay hasn't been forgotten either. Engineers and recons can use their rockets and SOFLAM's to destroy enemy tanks. Of course engineers can repair tanks as usual.

It will feature up to 16 tanks per map, including tank destroyers. Accoring to the blog post they are basically just the same as regular MBT's but with a weaker armor and faster speed. The firepower is the same as in MBT's.

Tank respawns will be nearly instant.

I'm not sure if the PC version will be any different. Or if that was actually the PC version they were talking about. Or if all the versions are the same.

Im really looking forward to AK, it'll be refreshing to play on big maps with new tanks etc... just like when euro force came out on BF2 its nice to have some different vehicles! and the maps should look great on the frostbite 2 engine

Thanks Al, like you say nothing really new there except the short Aftermath clip which doesn't give a great deal away.

Accoring to battlefield.com Armored Kill will be first released for PS3: Premium players get it on Sep 4th, non-Premium players Sep 18th and on PC and Xbox Premium members get it on Sep 11th and non-Preimum people Sep 25th.
