EA UK BF3 forums merged w/ Battlelog

It was called "a black hole of negativity" and "Mordor" (one does not simply walk into Mordor, quote from LotR) by the developers. It had countless threads complaining about everything in Battlefield 3. And lots of thread created by Scriv on how to improve Battlefield 3, made both before and after it was released. Scriv was also unofficially nominated to be the leader of Mordor, "Sauron". Sometimes some posters dared to state they liked the game, and some of the most enthusiastic defenders were called DDF, DICE Defence Force.

But now it will be merged with the Battlelog forums. Even to read posts in Battlelog you need to log in. And I can't remember my password. I don't know the exact time when will the EA UK forums close for good, but it should be today, June 1st.

I saved it both as a "complete web page" and as a html version. I don't know if it actually works. We'll see.

But it isn't the end to Mordor; a new site has been opened to substitute it.

It is an unofficial BF3 forum. Still zh1nt0 (DICE's community manager) can be seen posting there as well as on the Battlelog forums.

I got sucked back into Mordor several days ago as the Close Quarters & E3 preparations were beginning for DICE and DICE's harshest critics. I do not want belabor the negative. I do however want to inform our Battlefield fans. There was a recent effort by Phyrefli to have Battlefield fans NOT purchase the Close Quarter DLC. DICE representatives were in the EA UK Forum (Mordor) trying to convince folks to not boycott DLC which would effect DICE's employees' livelihood. It is likely Bach got upset with the overwhelming response against his attempts to pacifiy the resistence and he made the decision to shut down Mordor.

Hey Scriv, your thread in the new Mordor about Forgotten Hope ( ec2-107-20-152-68.compute-1.amazonaws.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=249&sid=68d1a7b6420b5a178a48445a6fd71202 ) says that the latest version is 2.3, when it should be 2.4. The current version has everything 2.3 had and added some new maps, weapons and uniform for the soldiers.
