Tutorials for mod tools for Max Payne. Remarkably the mod tools come with the game disc, although their existence is never mentioned anywhere. Once I got interested in them and followed the tutorials closely to create a simple level. It got too complex for me when they introduced enemies and scripting for them. Since I never give up, I made a tactical retreat and tried to make my house with the editor. I only got to make my room when I got some error messages which I couldn't solve. I thought I had been doing everything just like in the tutorials. Maybe some day I will gain the motivation to start again... Tutorials for the level editor, MaxED: www.rockstargames.com/maxpayne/tutorials/MaxED/index.htmlTutorials for making particle effects with ParticleFX: www.rockstargames.com/maxpayne/tutorials/ParticleFX/index.htmlUsing mods for Max Payne (which I installed yesterday having some troubles with it but finally it's working like a charm) is very easy. You just copy the .mpm file to the main Max Payne directory and select the mod you want to use from a drop-down menu on the game launcher.
