Got one a while back and here are my thoughts. Pros:PS3 quality graphics on a 5" screen.Touch pads work great on the front and rear. Has 2 cameras and one can make videos.Built in mic that works well and the speakers have good sound. Not to bad for comfort for a long session. Nice to have to have 2 sticks for gaming.WiFi has excellent range(I had no interest in the 3G model.) Like card based games over the UMD of the PSP. Cons:Price of memory cards is very high and Sony is the sole supplier. That does not bother me as I don't put music on mine or other downloads. Not enough games out for it yet. Some have griped about battery life but after running it out a few times. The charge seems to go longer now.(much like battery tools.) I would have liked the ability to change batteries myself. One can also use this device on their PS3 for remote play.I have not tried this yet.I got mine to play on the go and at work ;D. It is fun to make a head shot while driving .It also has motion control ie:driving games one can steer by moving the Vita. Unit 13 is the only shooter out for now FYI.

There's a cool game called Soul Sacrifice coming out at some point for Vita. The twist is that if you want to use powerful magic, you'll have to sacrifice your arm or even a NPC teammate! But I don't know if it's really any good beyond that unique gameplay element. I'd keep an eye out for reviews once it's released.

Unit 13 is the first game I ever got all the Trophies for. I'm really into FIFA using the front and rear touch screens to pass/make shots is fun. All the hidden stuff in Uncharted and use of the gyros and touchscreens makes for fun play on slow days at work.

Picked up Wipeout 2048 and Resistance Burning Skies.
