I have to say I'd be quite embarrassed if it turned out to be someone else.
But how did I know who it was so fast? I did indeed talk with Spartan later on the night the picture was taken and the gathering was held, but it was after I had posted here. And it wasn't McGuirk's real face, he was just trying out the various face paints found in the game with the default face.
I don't want to keep you guessing anymore so I'll just reveal my trick (and breaking the first rule of magicians: don't reveal how you do it). I just copied the image URL, which revealed immediately who's in the image: spartanwarfighters.net/2top/3forum/images/Arma_2/braveMcGuirk.png
Or you could have just clicked "Save image as..." and the name it suggests happens to be braveMcGuirk.png.
