Being as smart as I am, I know the correct answer. Unless you're bluffing of course. A brave man anyways. How did he get his face in Arma 2?
Let's see who's the next to get the answer. I won't tell my (correct) guess unless it's really necessaryk.

The blue and white war paint and Al's 'brave' slip suggest that famous Scotsman Mel Gibson, but looks absolutely nothing like him.

Not having played Arma 2, I don't know what do the character models look like, but I have a feeling this is a custom skin (unless a faction in Arma 2 really does have white and blue face paint (looks like a reverse-coloured Finnish flag to me)).
Backtothefight, you were right when you suspected you were wrong. It's not Mel Gibson. Doesn't look like him at all. But does it look like him at all? I don't think I've seen any pictures of this person. But every Spartan should know him, although not for his face. There is a reason he's in Arma and got photographed by Scriv.
(hint: I knew who it was before I talked to Spartan. It's possible to solve who it is if you think outside of the box a bit)

I came across this guy in the wooded outskirts of a Taki village. It scared me so much I surrendered.........and he was on my side

I spotted him from a distance and moved in for the kill only to find it was a Brave Heart imposter. His identity should be disclosed soon. This should help in solving the puzzle:

I'm getting a mixed message here...the face paint makes him look dangerously deranged but the spectacles say "harmless bookworm",

But its all inaccurate. Wallace didn't paint his face blue nor did he wear a kilt. The face paint comes from the time the pic's fought the romans and kilts started around the 16th century. When the scots faced the (spit spit) english they would have been dressed in similar clothing. Sorry to spoil the party.

But no one has guessed yet who it is...The answer lies somewhere in this sentence I posted earlier: I won't tell my (correct) guess unless it's really necessaryk.

Hadrian's Wall would not have got Kevin Costner from Dover to Nottingham. Come on Al the suspense is killing me !

my (correct) guess unless it's really necessaryk. There's something in that senetence, a classic trick to hide information. And the "k" is not a typing error, although it should actually be in the front (so it would be "knecessary"). I could have chosen another word for it but couldn't think of any without it sounding too suspicious or stupid. my (correct) guess unless it's really knecessary I will reveal it Soon. (like DICE likes to say ) a bit off-topic: I might be a cross-breed between Sherlock Holmes and The Riddler from Batman. Making devilishly cunning riddles to solve.

Knice twisting and hinting Al. With what has been said so far I would have to say it is one of our own. I believe his user namefor this forum would, correct me if I'm wrong, start with '=SWF='? I just don't know how he would have gotten his face in ArmA 2 unless he was a developer or won a contest or tournement.
