This game holds a big potential. I've been keeping an eye on it for a while. I think at least some of the developers come from the developing company IO Interactive, which is known for its Hitman games, Freedom Fighters, and Kane&Lynch series.

I hope this turns out to be good.

We’ve just deployed our pre-Beta build, which means that we’re very close to go into Closed Beta, so if you’ve received a key you can now play Heroes & Generals 24/7 with all the basic elements of the game. Just read about it on the EA UK BF3 forums and was about to post about it here, but you beat me to it. I signed up for the beta a minute ago and hopefully will get a key at some point. Has any of the Spartans gotten an alpha key yet?

You know, at best this could become an official clan game. I haven't played it yet and it's nowhere near finished, but it does sound really good already. And it will be free to play with something you can buy with real money, but I think it's just so that you could unlock things a bit faster buy purchasing them. I recommend everyone to try this one.

I haven't gotten my alpha key yet nor anything else on my e-mail. I think they said they would send a verification e-mail in 24 hours, but nothing has appeared, not even in the spam folder. I may have submitted an incorrect e-mail address (typo somewhere?) so that would explain.

On the other news, here's what it says on the account management page(among other stuff):

By starting an alpha game, you agree that:

playing alpha games and/or other services that are accessible as part of the website (collectively, the Service) is entirely at your own risk and expense, including but not limited to loss of data, and that you know that the game may include known or unknown bugs,

I got a beta key on my e-mail. I'll give it a try in the next couple of days and won't give a report on these forums due to NDA.

Has anyone else gotten a beta key? A simple yes or no is all you can say if you have agreed to the NDA.
