hey guys, now that alot of us has a computer that is able to run bf3, we start to ask questions about the game.
which gun is the best for which class?
which attachments do u bring for guns?
which perks do u use for vehicles?
how do u avoid missles that locked onto u?
etc...
first thing i want you guys to check out is this site
symthic.com/?s=bf3&sb=dmgchart
this is the real deal of the stats in the game. dont go by the bullcrap that they put out on battlelog. it might be overwhelming at first, but spending a good 15-30 min will allow you to attain a plethora of knowledge. this site will tell you stats of every gun as well as tell you which guns are winning and which are as good as throwing pebbles. if you have any questions just ask me on teamspeak or shoot me a msg though battlelog
second thign I want you guys to check out is vids by this guy
he does decent tutorials and can help answer questions about flying jets and choppers.
things over all about jets (F35 sucks balls btw unless u use it as a transport vehicle- it can pretty much only kill choppers cause ground assets as well as jets eat F35 up for breakfast)
for choppers
for tanks
and remember teamwork is key to success and only fails when the enemy team spams rockets or are full of colonel ranked soldiers... or on metro...
i will try to bring my infantry combat insight another time

- how to avoid javelins/guided shells or heat seekers
tight downward turns preferably through or around objects/mountains/building and hope that the missile hits it. Javelins/Guided shells are slower and more maneuverable=deadly. - When you're getting locked on you can tell by the color of the "LOCK"-symbol
Red means: Javelin, Guided shell, Guided missile, SOFLAM
Yellow means: FIM-91 Stinger, SA-18 IGLA or heat-seekers - when in jet u should be using:
air radar,flares/ecm rocket
beam scanning, flares/ecm, heatseekers/ guided shell
for choppers
- mi-28 is crappier then cobra, mi 28 turns very slowly and feels very heavy despite having same armor rating as cobra
- dont fly at high altitudes, ur sitting ducks for jets. fly NAP. get close to the ground and hug it almost. pull above the treeline to attack. always try to flank or hit it in the back as a good straffling run with gunner can disable and even kill a tank
- when in chopper u should be using:
pilot: air radar, heat seekers, ecm or laser painter, heat seekers, ecm/extinguisher
gunner: auto reloader/ air radar, tv missle/ guided shell, flares/ thermo optics
for tanks
- at long ranges it is easier to calibrate ur tank aim with a t-90 compared to a Abrams. reason is that ur aiming reticule has ticks and with experience you can guesstimate the range of the enemy. (however i still prever Abrams sights)
- you have most armor up front, and okay armor on sides. always try to engage the enemy with ur frontal armor while flanking.
- when in tanks you should use:
tank destroyer: reactive armor, thermo optics(i prefer this as u can see mines)/ smoke, guided shell
infantry meatsheild: reactive armor, thermo optics/ smoke, canister shot(hard at first to use but once u get used to it u can dominate enemy infantry as canister shot has virtually no bullet drop)
NEVER USE HMG AS UR WEAPONS PERK. ITS WORSE THEN UR GUNNERS 50 CAL
and remember teamwork is key to success and only fails when the enemy team spams rockets or are full of colonel ranked soldiers... or on metro...
