You can all join as per usual with out doing anything different as we have not installed the bot onto the main server yet! All that people will be assigned a verified group when server bot is up and running

Lambourne,
I have figured out the permissions system in TS and was able to block channels without the bot. People will need to be assigned a group in order to use the server. I can remove these permissions for now until we get everyone in their appropriate group if need be.

I still think the bot might be something to look into for the future it does many useful things that help keep the server secure, but as only Scriv can get it on we will wait for him to return from the sand. Phonenix I granted you permissions anyone else that is missing, which ever one of us is on will grant you.

I got full permissions from McGuirk, so now I can do fancy stuff like go to another channel! The problem is, I can't see people who are in other channels. Is this a bug? Can it be fixed?

Al I had the same problem and Lambourne gave this advise which solved the problem. Andy this is client based, all you have to do is go into 'settings' then 'options' then 'design' and select ' expand all channels on login'. This should work |
