Well, my first impressions are that this game rocks. But, after 2 days of dabbling in BF3, I find I'm not going to be truly satisfied until I'm in a squad of =SWF=. So far its been fun looking around, but the silence on voip is deafening. Here I am going around trying to be a good team mate only to not get any friendly reciprocity in terms of supply and meds and resuscitation. Makes for a less than satisfying experience. On your six ! Are there any squadleader commands in game ? I assume not, only maybe the bc2 lame version. Unless your in a squad that's determined to work as team, they are nothing more than extra spawn points, normally scattered all over the map  |

I managed to play today  I just tried to fire up and there it was. I thought the release date was the 28th. for the UK. First impressions are it looks amazing. It was so laggy though. Squad settup is similar to BC2 for joining etc. I noticed good squad support in the few games I played. No voip was being used though. Is there a way to get the full =SWF= in the tag box ? All I can fit in is =SWF and ingame it shows as [SWF] |

Day 3 I havnt even got the disks yet!! Amazon says they were posted today so hopefully will arrive tomorrow. Will be great getting a few of us together on TS.

You're only allowed 4 characters for squad tags. I don't know why it would bracket only SWF. My guess is = isn't one of the allowed characters? I'll try tonite to verify.

yes the = in =SWF= with not fit, I use SWF and thats it, the VOIP is not finished as well as the Commo-Rose, as much as it pains me to say it, it will take some time to get these features in, so as long as its a short wait I am ok with it, does not mean I like it, but I will accept it for what it is.
