Beat campaign today wasn't impressed by the story. And found it way to short as is the trend.I will do a side by side with MW3. Tank mission was fun the game seemed like BFBC reskined with better graphics. More vehicle missions would have been nice.

1) Are you able to move the BF3 HUD mini-map? Can colors, transparency, etc be changed on HUD items? 2) Did the BF3 server browser function on day one upon release? Where you able to see your ping for different servers? 3) I am under the impression that the “Spectate” feature is absent from BF3. It was a server side option that could toggled on and off in BF2. Is it present in BF3? 4) How are the game server admin controls for BF3 as compared to BF2 and BFBC2?

Well, I purchased, I loaded, and I haven't been near my home computer until this week. Finally got on and prepared myself for combat but... as we discussed in the forum late last month the video card can't handle the game. So now I'm prepping to build a whole new system, stripping some of the less important stuff out of my old rig. feel free to comment on my selections but this is what I plan on throwing into the new "kit":
CASE: • Cool Master Elite 430 • 3 x 120mm Fans
CPU Cooler • COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 Plus
Processor • Intel i5 2500K
Mobo •Gigabyte Intel Z68 ATX DDR3 2133 LGA 1155 Motherboard GA-Z68A-D3H-B3
Ram •Corsair Vengeance Blu 8 GB (2X4 GB) PC3-12800 1600mHz DDR3 240-Pin SDRAM Dual Channel Memory Kit CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9B
Graphics Card • MSI N570GTX Twin Frozr III Power Edition/OC Video Card or eVGA GeForce GTX 570 HD Graphics adapter

Looks good. I've got a gtx570 and it runs comfortably on high with a few ultra settings. But I've still got a dual core E8400 which is maxed out and probably responsible for any FPS short comings. Wobbly uses an i5 2500k with a gtx560ti and I'm sure he has no problems. I think any quad core is pretty much ok, I've seen tests showing the i7 2600k running around 30%~40% with the i5 a bit more. Apparently bf3 is more gpu dependent and the only real FPS drop is with a dual core. I think I posted a link in the bf3 upgrade thread.

Yep, you won't have any problems with that Ghost. As BTTF says, I can run BF3 with settings maxed with the i5 2500K and 560Ti. The 570 should walk it

Using an AMD Phenom II 965 Black Edition and an EVGA GTX 560 Ti Superclocked and I run just about everything at maximum except for texture size which on Ultra uses 1,5GB of VRAM and I only have 1GB VRAM.
Right now the I5 2500K is the best bang for the buck Intel CPU and arguably the best on the market currently for the price, I will be upgrading to the new AMD FX 8 Core cpu's in Jan-Feb of next year as "Bulldozer" revision 2 will be out with new stepping and encoding that should increase their effectiveness 2x.
