Custom Character In-game Camo

Well fellow Spartans..we knew that when we played the BETA that the game was not finished and apparently that could not be more correct. From Commo-Rose to Squad Leader Powers and Squads, now to customizable characters! That's right you can now customize your character with 12 different camo's that automatically alternate between Russian and American versions depending upon the side you are on.

I would prefer standard uniforms specific to the map.

Interesting, you can change your appearance in ArmA2. I can't remember if it included uniforms.

you can change your camouflage to suit the map better as you unlock them, RU have their own sets as well as the US. Just make sure you don't bring gugiflauge or I will throw it out the window, if you get the reference

Wait, so until you unlock the camos, you will be in a disadvantage due to having an inferior camo? Or are the basic forest, desert and snow camouflages unlocked at the beginning?

basic camo is available at game start, it covers all the maps, however you can choose your camo after you play and achieve certain criteria. The additional camo does not make you harder to spot so to say but allows you to make your soldier "one of a kind". Its not purely cosmetic, its more like Rainbow Six Vegas 2's customization, which to say was freaking awesome.

Games are getting so real nowadays.
