With any luck they will sort out the LAG. It is unplayable at the moment. I know they will stress test and all that other sh1t but didn't they do this in the locked servers not open to the public? Whats the bet there will be a huge patch on release day cause it ain't ready....

Yep, a lot of servers are unplayable. A bit like trying to walk home after a late one, then getting beaten up by a load of kids !!! I have found a few servers where the game runs nicely, and it looks amazing. Gameplay seemed a mix of BC2 and BF2, but I felt more at home on this map. I was expecting to get hammered by jets, but they were too busy fighting each other and left us ground pounders alone. Can't wait to see what Karkand and Wake are like

Agreed, this is why when I kept posting about BF3 being a BETA and that Metro is NOT what BF3 is, now you will finally get to see first hand what i got to experience 1 week ago. On another important note check out my new thread here, I just read and watched it, its from IGN so its a good review.

"DICE has added a new map to the Battlefield 3 beta: Caspian Border is now open and available to everyone for the last few days of the beta. There are already dozens of 64 player Caspian Border servers out there..."
Several days ago the Battlefield 3 beta servers were hacked to support other game modes, including Conquest at 128 and 256 players.

Several days ago the Battlefield 3 beta servers were hacked to support other game modes, including Conquest at 128 and 256 players. I would agree with that. I entered a server and when I left I found that I had a promotion to level 94 and unlocked all weapons for support. Was a little pee'd off but at least I got to try all of the support weapons in this beta. The clays have been a welcome return. Now everywhere I go I get called a hack. Well what eles is new lol Cop-u-later

NOTICE!!! Anyone caught by EA on hacked servers must prove they were sent there by the "Quick Join" feature and not intentional. People are getting EA accounts BANNED, and if you play on a hacked server you also run the risk of that server provider stealing your account info and play as you, its been reported many times. When you get account banned by EA its YOUR account that's tied to your BF3, from what I have read from the forum moderators if you get banned in the BETA your account is Banned in the Retail, be careful.

Spartan, how in the hell are you going to prove it sent you there via quick join? I think most people that joined these did so innocently, well the majority anyway. I didn't see any sticky saying that they had been hacked nor did I receive an email to that effect.
At the end of the day its still a beta and I know that I don't have any software nor the use of any hardware to assist me in the game and origin will provide EA with this proof. So this talk of "Banning people" for something out of their control is a little, well lets face it, bullsh1t. Having said that, I am sure, nay I prey, that they have been watching and recording the likes of those well known sites that sell hacks.
I also accept that ignorance is no defence in the eyes of the law but at the same time EA have failed to provide me and others with a duty of care. I was only in the affected server for 10mins. I was unaware of any changes to my rank/status until I disconnected from the server and joined another through the "quick join" feature. It was here that I became aware of the support class being maxed out and I had a rank in game of 53 or something
I do take your point however about the lose of account info. If anything this concerns me the most. But once I was aware that it had been a hacked server, I carried out preventative measures to safe guard my PC but this could fall into the category of "Closing the gate after the horse has bolted". I can only hope that my info is safe. I suppose only time will tell. I have already been a victim of this sort of crime and was banned from 2142 because of it. I suppose the next thing I could do is seek the help of EA support and change any passwords relating to my account.
I appreciate your information though.
