I just got it to download ArmA. It looks like this is an extremely valuable tool for gamers. It's not just a download site. It is a full on community website for gamers. The best part is that it's pushing my 650KB/s connection to over 800 KB/s. ArmA 2 download time was aorund 2.5 hours. If you don't have it already check it out.

I have used Steam for a long time now Taz.
I think it is great, auto downloads and patches your games too.
Also, like you say a good community site with forums and friends tool. (my Steam game name is BadDog)
What puts some people off is that you have to run Steam to play your game. Doesn't bother me though.

Have you installed PR onto your Steam version of ArmA2 Taz ?

Works just fine though I am still having torubles getting all the controlls down.
