Just out now to see a B17 at our airport. Supposed to be the Battle of Britain air display today, but all are fogged in !! Bloody Brit weather. Will get to walk around them though.

The whole damn airport is closed. Shit, how many more chances will I get to see (and touch) a B17.

I am looking forward to playing this game. I loaded it and briefly tried back in June 2011. My tank was visible, but the other tanks were not. From what people were saying, it looked like it was a patching problem that effected a lot of people. By the time I get back, I am sure it will be working fine.
McGuirk, Did you play much of this game?
Anyone else get any time in on this game?

Sorry to say, I tried it and didn't care for it. For me it was too arcade like and simplistic. I was hoping for a more realistic tank simulator. The fact that you had to purchase "gold" in order to gain access to larger tanks
also put me off.

at first I didnt like it, I could use auto-aim and I thought it was cheesy. I have now played over 100 hours of it and I no longer use Auto-Aim and its really fun, it does grow on you, and its really not that arcade like once you get into the Tier III+ vehicles. If anything battlefield is way more arcade like than WOT, mind you that in version 7.xx they are adding physics to vehicles which will change things up, its still technically in BETA nearing release client. They are adding in French, European, Chinese, and Japanese tanks as well in later builds.
As for enemy tanks not showing up its a graphics bug, set your graphics settings up and restart the game after playing 1 round, the enemy tanks should be visible then, worked for me and a few others that I play with.

World of Tanks is constantly evolving, this game requires knowledge of 3 T's..... Tanks, Tactics, and Teamwork to be successful and win. I have been playing WOT now for about 1 year, they are getting ready to release British Tanks and now Tier 10 Medium Tanks and Tier 10 Tank Destroyers. T10 Mediums & TD's: worldoftanks.com/news/1346-tier-10-mediums-and-tds-announced/This is the update I have been asking for over 6 months now, I finally get a modernized Patton with the legendary Royal Ordinance L7 105mm Main Gun that was used on the M1 Abrams. For those of you who lack the knowledge of the L7 Gun here is a link to some easy to understand info on it, with this gun on my Patton II I will be able to kill any damn tank I want.
